From the airport

Schiphol airport, is your gateway to Amsterdam. The train is the most convenient form of transportation from the airport.

The station is clearly marked and located in Schiphol at the center of the airport. Tickets to Amsterdam Centraal Station (one way 2nd class 3.10 EUR) can be conveniently purchased with a credit card at the yellow ticket booths or at the Dutch Railways ticket counter (3.60 EUR).
By taxi it costs approx. 35-40,- euro

Amsterdam Centraal Station is within walking distance (just 5 minutes) Exit the station from its main entrance. With central station behind you, cross the bridge in front, cross the road at the traffic lights, you will find yourself on the pedestrian section of the “Damrak” our main street, cross the road to the left where the canal boat cruses are, take the first left, then the first right, we are the third building on the left.

By Car you dont really need a car in Amsterdam, as most attractions are in walking distance and public transport is reliable and runs until late at night. Traffic in Amsterdam can be difficult like in many cities, parking is expensive in the city center you can park for 5,- euro per hour. Nevertheless, here are detailed directions to help you drive up to our front door.
